Maria, it is also deeply hypocritical that the world leaders should have a dinner like this when there is a global food crisis. Despite their promises on reducing poverty and hunger in Africa nothing has been changed. And there is something symbolic in the fact that leaders from Ethiopia, Tanzania and Senegal took part in expanded talks with the G8 members but were not invited to the dinner party.
…and not a word about the environmental impact of transporting it to the gluttons…
